About the Fabio Trabocchi Hospitality Family Fund

The Fabio Trabocchi Hospitality Family Fund provides grants of financial assistance to employees of Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants in Washington, D.C. and Arlington, Va., to meet unexpected life situations and challenges, from healthcare to housing, from childcare to eldercare. Our teams are the heart of our business, and we want to be there for them when they need it most.

The Fund was launched in March 2020 as the Fabio Trabocchi Employees Disaster Relief Fund and was seeded by Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants. In its first year of existence, grants issued from the Fund totaled close to $300,000. The Fabio Trabocchi Hospitality Fund is a donor advised fund managed by the Greater Washington Community Foundation, who serves as its fiscal sponsor.

How it Works

The Fund is governed by our Fund Advisors, who ensure the program grants all contributions appropriately as well as meets the objectives and guiding spirit of the Fund. All grants are reviewed by the Fund Advisors, who consist of impartial representatives from the business community. The Fund Advisors review funding requests and award support based upon established criteria.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

n addition to the Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants Family Fund, established to support our team throughout and after the pandemic, Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants is honored to support the greater metro DC area in many ways. From culinary education to biomedical research to local sustainability efforts, we believe in being a part of our community. In recent years, we have partnered with the Jacques Pepin Foundation, Friend of Rappahannock, DC Central Kitchen, ROSM, and So Others Might Eat, while providing ongoing donations to worthy causes.
